    "He speaks for most of the Conservative Party much more so than Cameron . . " - I've always thought that if the Conservative leadership represented the views of its membership there would be no need for UKIP to exist.

    However, there could be a massive shock for both main parties in the by-elections next week, not at Clacton but at Heywood and Middleton. If UKIP win there it will show Labour are also vulnerable to them, and Cameron's joke about 'Vote for Nigel and wake up with Ed' is showing how little he understands the situation.
