I often wonder why there is so much animosity towards the freemasons, maybe in times past it aided a career not so sure it helps now. My father was one but that did not help his career as far as I can remember.
BTW I am sure I saw somewhere there are female freemasons lodges/groups or what ever they call themselves.

Yes the lady I worked for was the lady chair or whatever they are called.It used to be the case if councillors were free masons it had to be declared.
