You may not need to queue up Brian I think it would be a very low turnout the way the parties have been conducting themselves over the last two years.

Reading the Tory papers this morning and widespread panic is breaking out amid fears of a General Election being called and Labour winning. The general view is that middle England is warming to their policies and there is little interest in Jezza's former associates or the anti-Semitism issue. The call to bring trains, water and energy back into public ownership resounds well with most of the public.

As I have said in many places before
In the same position prior to Blair getting in Prescott promised railwaymen in a packed meeting to renationalise railways
As soon as they got in they went back on there word
Why trust such words?
Having been let down before I'm less trusting any of it will happen

Why do you think I trust no politician whatever party they represent. They say one thing to get your vote then conveniently forget once elected.

What's most concerning is labour should be romping home
Quite the opposite

Absolutely no point in a General Election - it would result in another hung Parliament and more pandering to tin pot minority parties.

It would certainly put the Tories in a bit of a bind locally!
