#42 One of the more worrying things about the Damian Green tale is that it relates to events of nine years ago when police made a raid of dubious legality to put it mildly.
It would appear that Plod has chosen to leak the information now which seems to me appalling. I expect them to investigate possible law breaking and put wrongdoers up before the courts.
Whatever your views of the current scandal, when the police can march into MPs offices and then leak this sort of stuff, we have a problem.
They are meant to be impartial umpires rather than players in the game. They have 'previous' for this.
