I reckon Dave and Nick will run another cobbled together coalition, failing that Dave and Nigel if UKIP spring a few surprise results.
Any other predictions?

A cobbled together Tory/Irish/Lib Dem coalition but possibly Tories and Irish may be enough. Charlie to win here and Nige beaten at south Thanet.

Can't see Ed doing a deal with the SNP he doesn't actually have to. He could do a deal with the Yellows knowing that the SNP would vote against anything that Dave proposed on a point of principle.

I have a bet going with Keef, I give £10 to charity if Clair wins and he gives £5 to charity if Charlie wins.

I don't see the lib dems being that big after getting in to bed with the Tories.
labour getting a bashing in Scotland ,and ukip taking a big lump out of labour core voters , they will need all the friend they can get to topple the conservatives.

A wild card - the 'quiet Tories', the ones who don't like to say who they'll be voting for like they did for John Major, will produce a small Conservative majority.
There'll be a few surprise UKIP wins and a lot of big names from all major parties going down the electoral plughole, Nick Clegg anyone?
What happens to Keef and Howard's bet if David wins?

They'll be too busy taking photos of the flying pigs to worry about the bet!

UKIP seem confident of winning Dover, the bookies are still taking bets at between 14/1 and 18/1 on that happening.
Ray has a point about the "quiet Tories" but that was 23 years ago and the exit polls have been very close to the final result as each election passes. The real swing is for people who only made up their minds today, I was one of them.

Who is as boring as me? I normally sit up on Election night determined to see it through as statistics, averages etc fascinate me, like a long game of cricket. What happens is the eyes get heavy soon after midnight and by about half one my chin hits my chest just as the big results are coming in. I wake about 7 am when it is all cut and dried!!
Tonight will be different, i shall hit the sack soon after the exit polls are announced and if my mobile phone alarm works will rise from the dead at 3.30 am.

326 for a majority?
How many Sinn Fein mp's who don't turn up 5?
Could the Conservatives possibly stay in power with a minority as long as they don't put through any controversial policies? Then hope Lib Dem and UKip don't side with Labour.

Yes they could reasonably easily. Doubtful all opposition would join together against them. Expect a leadership challenge before too long if no overall majority.

Ray's prediction was correct. Still not got the council results through despite them being counted at the same time as the parliamentary one.
