 - This will be held at the Dover Working Mens Club in London Road, Dover.

 It will enable all four candidates (Charlie Elphicke, Claire Hawkins, David Little and Sarah Smith) to give their views, to explain their philosophies and to expound their vision for the constituency that they wish to serve.

 The meeting with be chaired by Mike Webb, former Town Centre Manager and Clerk to Dover Town Council.

 The event will take place on Thursday 12th February, with a prompt 7pm start.

 All members of the public are invited, and are requested to be in the hall (which has disabled access), at the DWMC by 6.30pm

 The bar will be open and bar snacks will be available, up to the start time. There will be also be a mid-point break for refreshments, when the bar will be re-opened. After the event, the bar will be opened again.

 The hall holds well over 200 people and has its own bar.

 The planned format::

 Panelists to arrive any time that suits them, but no later than 6.30pm

 To begin the evening, each of the four parliamentary candidates, in turn, will have two minutes, introductory, microphone time.

 Questions (written by the audience members, in advance or during the evening, bearing the questioner's name and given to the chairman), will be dealt with at the chairman's discretion. Questioners will be asked to identify themselves, by the chairman, before the question is posed. At the end of the panel's answering session, the questioner can comment, as can other members of the public, as deemed appropriate by the chairman.

 To round off the evening, each panelist will be given a two-minute slot to encapsulate final thoughts and philosophies.

 At the end of the debate, the bar will be opened again. you are cordially invited to remain for as long as you wish, in order to engage with your potential MP.

 Sounds like a lively, entertaining and informative evening.

 Once again, the event will take place on Thursday 12th February, with a prompt 7pm start.

 I've just been very busy with lots of things that took me away from the Forum.

 I can't be there, but am sure it will be lively and interesting.

 - Thursday evening at the Working Men's Club - there were no advance questions - questions were put on the night by the general public. The meeting was well chaired and moderated by Mike Webb and there was a heavy emphasis on local issues, which was very good.

 - Small event which will at best swing 10 or 20 votes. Insignificant compared to the constituency, would be better to have one large event in Dover and one in Deal. - Jack of Hearts
