Keith's photo that has incurred the wrath of Sue, we all recognise Charlotte who looks well turned out and Rebecca who supports so many causes she has a t shirt or similar for each and wears them in public. The two young chaps at the back(Tory and Lib Dem) seem fairly well scrubbed up which leaves the two ladies from the studio audience who have clearly dressed for a meeting in a draughty hall in February.

Only one person in that picture looks as if she has no interest in her appearance, (she has looked the same for years
) that does not mean she is no good as a potential candidate.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

cant see the point of dressing up in a tuxedo and black tie just to eat fish and chips out the paper while sitting on a sofa watching tv.

Reference the photo all 4 parties gave a view as to what they felt the party they represented could do
The idea of the meeting (a first for the assoc who have avoided politics up to now), was to at least get people to meet the politicians and whilst it was partly aimed at getting people to vote it was also an opportunity for locals to raise concerns or question the 4 parties
Life is about using opportunity

It wasnt a high turnout but it a not through lack of advertising!!!!!!!! Lol
It was in windows around the ward
On the notice board
On social media
But the idea was to open up the opportunity for people to attend if they so wished
I think people are sick and fed up of all politicians (or most)
And that didn't help the turn out
Ages were mainly retired
But there were also some younger people in 20,s
Hopefully those that did attend will have picked up some info
Main thing as I said at the end of the meeting the 4 political parties should take heed of the low turnout as I'm sure it's partly due to people being peed off with politicians of all colours

Charlotte welcomes 'groupies' of all ages Reginald - doesn't just have to be the young ones. Applicants are encouraged to apply at
