  As we saw yesterday with his appearance at the Liaison Committee, Boris is pretty averse to doing anything that might generally be described as "his job". He is lazy, doesn't put in the hours and has no command over his brief. In his head, all he had to do was keep saying "got Brexit done" on repeat and it would have been enough. How inconvenient of a global pandemic to come along and ruin all that!
