Politicians are very clever with their words then they wonder why we no longer trust anything that they say.

For example: "Good to hear confirmation today that the UK is in good shape to leave, deal or no deal" - Mr Elphicke commenting on a BBC report of what the Cabinet Secretary said. Which was somewhat different: "We have got the government in pretty good shape and public services in pretty good shape for it [a 'no-deal' scenario]". Ah, so not the UK then actually.
