    There's absolutely nothing wrong with negative campaigning. What is the point in traipsing the street during the hustings if you're not going to trash the opposition? It's pointless otherwise.
    It seems that some are content with local politicians posing for the camera surrounded by their volunteers or standing next to a big box of bananas. How on Earth is that going to give me an idea of who I should be voting for?
    Politics is a dirty business, always has been and always will be.
    In my experience there's more bile and a deep nastiness in labour campaigning, and for that matter liberal, than, say, the Conservatives. Really horrid.
    As far as the UKIP campaign goes I find their poster campaign deeply distasteful along with their "policies" which are nothing of the sort.
