  Realistically I suspect that DDC being Labour controlled will see little difference to policy or the level of council tax given that the national policies Starmer is espousing are faintly watered down Tory policies.
  
  I do agree that if the Town Council goes red we will see their precept rocket as parish councils are not rate capped & they will want to do pointless virtue signalling nonsense, rather than focussing on the stuff that makes a difference like assisting with funding for the repaving of Cannon & Biggin Streets for example
