Never thought I would say this but Jezza came across well compared to Cruella, both faced the same grilling from Pit Bull Paxman.

And if some guy at RAF Waddington wants permission to vaporise a baddie with drone will Corbyn give the OK? No chance.
So, what else did we learn? That the Falklands War was a Tory plot and that killing Bin Laden was a tragedy!
I want a PM who will deal as the world as it is, full of lunatic sky fairy worshippers who wish to drag post enlightenment civilisation back to the middle ages, not as we would all like it to be, full of rational actors seeking a diplomatic solution to our differences.
As for Syria, he's all for backing the UN peace talks. All well and good, but I've spoken to people involved in them and progress in the near future can be summed up in two words - dream on. It's a proxy war which has damn all to do with Bashar al-Assad any more. Iran is the problem and is going to be a much bigger problem in the future. All Obama has got out of the Iran Deal is time and the clock is ticking.

May I remind you Capt that the Iraq situation was one caused by the West. May I remind you that Syrian peace talks won't happen while the conflict carries on too. Bombing for peace is not the answer otherwise why don't we have an equivalent system on this forum. E.g. You say or do something I disagree wIth and I counter it by cycling over to you and thumping you...seems very inappropriate and rather disproportionate, don't you think?!

Or rather...not just thumping you but those in a fairly close 'collateral' proximity to you as well. Hypothetically speaking of course.

Ah yes the classic . The dinner lady watches the bully knock seven barrels out of the specky kid and then steps in picks up his glasses and says let's talk about a peace deal!

The reality is that MPs would never vote to bring it back so not really an election issue.

I see that 'thousands' have protested at Downing Street already about this.

Which is just a few less than the 400,000 who protested in favour previously!

Hey Bishop, I've found just the job for you, nice work if you can get it for £41,000+ per annum funded by 'our' NHS? Presumably very few Lead Chaplains queuing at food banks!

You could haunt the wards of Basingstoke telling the patients both the bad and good news.
1) Due to wicked Tory cuts you are going to die.
2) Not to worry because the sky-fairy promises an afterlife!

I find this rather confusing as an atheist is not really qualified to give spiritual guidance.
"We invite applicants from practising candidates experienced within a recognised world faith group or recognised non-religious group, and who are accountable within their particular faith or non-faith community.
The ideal candidate will have significant proven experience, preferably working within a chaplaincy setting in the NHS, which should be matched by the ability to demonstrate past delivery of spiritual and pastoral care to people irrespective of denomination and faith, including those of no faith."

Posted my vote today so all arguments are now irrelevant, for me it was not so much about policies but who do I trust to run the country.

The towers are gone now, reduced to bloody rubble, along with all hopes for Peace in Our Time, in the United States or any other country. Make no mistake about it: We are At War now — with somebody — and we will stay At War with that mysterious Enemy for the rest of our lives.

I wouldn't take too much notice of this Hunter cove, by his own admission he spent his life drunk and stoned then blew his own brains out at the age of 67.
