Two errors/misunderstandings of the subject matter that I can see:
"Whitehall also refuses to curb imports of European pork" - obviously, since we have a free trade agreement with the EU. It is in fact no change from when we were an EU Member State.
"Rees-Mogg is now advocating an Institute of Economic Affairs suggestion to boost trade with other countries by abolishing non-tariff barriers and “recognising [their] regulations, without requiring reciprocity, starting with the EU”." Good. 'Taking Back Control' is not synonymous with having controls, despite the previous paragraph (and taking the two together, the writer attempts to have it both ways).
Not the best article I've read, more like a stocking filler it seems to me.
