  I think Paul most politicians as you know as you have jumped ship to safer seats in your time, have stopped listening and now just expect people to turn out.
  
  As was shown on Hartlepool
  The Tories didn't win the seat themselves , it was labour voters staying away
  
  Locally the message is clear
  Like in st rads don't put up failed candidates or you won't get the vote .
  
  For never seen Nigel to win is clear that supporters for labour being unable to beat him a clear message
  Don't take the vote for granted .
  
  There is s real change from these safe seats now,
  Seeing seats fall when on days of old it would be like the Liverpool council of today
  No Tories here and none elected
  But these times are coming fast where the old traditional just vote is your family did , or its an ex mining area has long gone
  
  Slowly this message is getting across
  
  Time for all politicians to involve themselves on communities .
  
  When councillors refuse to come along then lose seats you can see why !
  
  But of course Paul you know all this already
