    nothing brave just changing parties (again)

    Howard;
    of course your correct on politicians working together for the better of the District.
    but supporting a leader against what is supposed to be your belief a little different.

    Ken;
    You know my view of person that switch parties, your not the first and probably won't be the last, its more about who elects/works for you then crossing the floor because as you stated you felt closer to the conservative policies than labour, and had great respect for mr Watkins won't I'm sure go down well in labour circles.
    You don't have to have stood in an election, you will in your time as a tory Cllr voted against the labour cllrs many times, something I'm sure they will consider.

    Like I said, one a socialist always a socialist, to most socialists they would find it impossible to join a right wing party and support it.

    just saying,,,,,,,,,,
