  This morning we hear that Cleggy is briefing the media on his parties disagreement with the govt hes in on Free Schools
  after one of Goves flagship ideas and the failed free school in Derby.
  
  It appears Cleggys concerns are around unqualified teachers being able to teach in these schools, and that he feels
  they should follow all other schools in the way they teach.
  
  It appears this is to be Cleggy's late fightback against his own govt, in an attempt to distance himself from the larger party in the Govt.
  
  I feel the damage has already been done by the lib dems, and the trust lost, i dont think many lib dems will be returned to Westminster in 2015.

  some outlying constituencies will always elect a third party candidate but i doubt whether the yellows will form part of a cobbled together thing in the foreseeable future.

  The real danger Keith, is that any semblance of unanimity in Parliament - on this and other matters, will serve to grind down the voter, and point-up the pointlessness of voting at all.

  Tom#There is a real danger of isolating/switching off voters, which has been going on for some years,
  
  Looking at voter turn out shows that.
  
  Theres a lot that can be done to repair this

  The electoral register is maintained by local electoral registration offices, and they use the register to issue ballot papers at elections. You can fill in the registration form on this site, then you just need to print it, sign it, and send it back to the electoral registration office for your area.   Register to vote as soon as possible! You might not think there's a rush, but elections can be called at any time and at short notice, so make sure you're registered so you can have your say.

  KeithS, free schools are part of the agenda to make Britain an "all faiths" country.
  It is bound to fail.
  The agenda was doomed from the start.
  People will see that many of these schools are trying to convert people to a foreign religion, something that is not from our Shores, that they are cause for sedition, not integration.

  sorry alex religions don't have nationalities, there are christians in predominantly muslim countries and the other way around.
  
  if it was the case half the world would live in israel which would mean serious logistical problems.

  Fascinating stuff Alex, could you perhaps enlarge on this as many of us would possibly like to add it to our itinerary when we are next in foreign climes.

  To know what sedition is, when a Christian Country renounces its Faith and allows foreign religions to be taught at school at the tax-payers expense, see Sarajevo and Bosnia:
  same people, same ethnicity, same language, and suddenly one party trying to impose sharia law (Alia Izetbegovic).
  
  See Nigeria: same people, same ethnicity, same language, students being murdered in their schools in massacres due to sectarian hatred.
  
  See Syria: same people, same ethnicity,same language, a non-sectarian State where all were equal, including a few million Palestinian and Iraqi refugees, and then the country being destroyed by sectarian hatred attracting terrorists from far and wide across the globe.
  
  See Iraq: same people, same ethnicity, same language, and about everyday people being blown to pieces through sectarian violence.
