As I am sure you are aware Captain Haddock, for all the DDC spin about housing in the district the reality is for the last five years the burden of new build completions have weighed on Deal. As we wait zzzZZZZ for the Whitfield expansion building in Deal quietly carries on exponentially (check the numbers).

National housing developers and local housing developers know where they can sell and make profit regardless of the successful and unsuccessful campaigns over proposed developments.

The real problem is that councillors at DDC have a nostalgic notion that Dover is the prime location where people want to live, so their forward thinking plans assume this is where they should concentrate services and investment.

Let's see if they wake up before it's too late and they are no longer the ones making these decisions.
