    Howard - in your post #855 you ignore what has been said here before. Yes, an insurance based system but one like they have in Germany, You cannot make the daft comparison that you have tried. The NHS system is failing and inefficient and I think the British people deserve something better.

    I really cannot figure out why some people prefer to defend a second rate failing health system, the NHS, instead of getting for everyone in the UK the quality of care to match the best in the world. Caring more about a system than people - so much for the the compassion claimed by some on here. Compassion my backside...
