Talking about X-ray processing, My wife was in agony just after Christmas with pains in her groin. Our GP sent her to Buckland for X-rays which came back positive ie. nothing wrong with her. Still in pain she had an MRI scan at Canterbury which had to be done twice as the first time it was done wrongly. The scan showed that she had a fractured pelvis. She saw a consultant who wasn't very happy that the fracture had not been picked up on the X-ray as he could see it plainly. It would have saved her having the MRI scans which are very expensive I believe.

She is on the mend now and is off to Canterbury again tomorrow for a bone scan and some other treatment. We cannot fault the treatment that she has had except for the X-ray processing. I don't pretend to know anything about X-rays but maybe Sarah can explain about the reading of them, is it easy to miss something ?.
