  I am a realist and whilst ideologically find the thought of making profit out of someone's ill health a little unsavoury I do recognise that in the current political and economic climate the only important thing is that the patient is provided the highest quality care as quickly as is appropriate for their needs and at no direct cost to them at the point of delivery. All else frankly is political posturing and navel gazing.
