I was merely commenting on the child poverty thing. My point is that this child, regardless of her parents' socio-economic position, is living in poverty. There are more measures of deprivation than the purely financial.

If the closet door is open, Reg, are we able to see those obese kids crapping their dreams away, and the stick thin girls chundering their self esteem into the distance? Poverty is, as Peter has said, more than fiscal.

have to agree after listening to them gripe about a pension defined by career average instead of the final salary one.
they will get little sympathy from the general public.
