How do you work that out?
Dover District Council is reducing its overall number of councillors from 45 to 32 a reduction of 13
Dover Town council has not made any comment about ward councillors and ther are no proposed changes to KCC divisions either.

I seem remember it being part of a national review of District/Borough council and DDC for their part voted to cut 13 councillors back in March.

Nothing like a bit of mis-information from Vic.
From DDC Facebook page
Dover District Council

The independent Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGCBCE) has published the draft recommendations of its electoral review of DDC. The draft proposals include:
▪️32 councillors, 13 fewer than there are now
▪️18 wards, three fewer than there are now
▪️Boundaries of 16 wards should change, two will stay the same

It's obvious, whoever told Mr Matcham that it was 30 (instead of 13) obviously didn't have their dentures in properly (or at all).

Not unusual for poster (1) to get it all wrong,,,,,,,,
What I find interesting is n Richards slagging off his own group whilst announcing hes not standing
rumour has it a second lab Cllr is announcing(for different reasons hes not standing)
Wonder if there jumping ship before they lose?

It is yourself that got it wrong ,just you do not read only parts you want to. I said there are 30 cllrs to go,and I hope most would be town parish ones,I did not say they would only my hope they would be, get right or say nothing

If that was the report I saw I think that was the number for
all of Kent not just Dover.

COMPETITION TIME! (A small prize for the best 'missing word(s)')
To lose one councillor may be regarded as a misfortune; to thirteen looks like ___________

Always good to be factual when finding out such items
its unlikely ddc would ever do away with 30 of its 45 cllrs
Bob Frost,,,,,,,
trouble we have is we never see ours
9 cllrs for ward
most of locals don't know who there Cllr is
(excluding me lol) and maybe 1 or 2 others
9 is to many for one ward
