The last election saw people in many areas just vote against Labour
Labour has a lot of work to do if its to regain the seats in its heartlands
Even closer to home an unknown tory not only won the Dover seat but doubled the majority

I was told the vote would be close before and during election campaign.
It wasn't what I was hearing in my area, and now we can see across Dover and District were not thinking the vote would be close.
Now, labour can say this was a blip due to brexit
But they cant use that same excuse at next general election.
