 - Doesn't sound like many did that Brian with only £100, 000 paid out, cheap advertising for the bookie.

 - The whole selection process has been farcical so anyone with 3 quid to spare can vote. http://www.dover-express.co.uk/f/story-27640657-detail/story.html

 - It is beginning to look as if Jezza isn't just an idealist living in a fantasy world, 41 economists and the IMF back his policies. http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2015/aug/22/jeremy-corbyn-economists-backing-anti-austerity-policies-corbynomics

 - Looks like all systems go with Mr Corbyn. How things have changed over the last few weeks. We were told about infiltrators from other parties coughing up the three quid required to have a vote, not just far left types but also blues that thought a Corbyn leadership would ensure them of a victory in 2020. Now we have government figures including George the money ridiculing the bearded chap from Islington which suggests that he may just be electable.

 - The knives are already out for the new leader of the opposition over his mode of dress and refusal to sing the national anthem yesterday. He was wearing a jacket and tie so I can't see a problem there and if he had sung the anthem he would have been branded a hypocrite considering his staunch republican views.

 - He will never get to no 10 and the reds have helped the blues by making him their leader .We can see the blues being in power now for the next ten years or more.

 - Regardless of political loyalties can any one on this forum ever imagine him as a future Prime Minister?

Can you see him as a world leader having meaningful discussions with the American President or any other world leader?

Not singing the National Anthem is surely just the beginning of the gaffs in the eyes of the majority of the public. He has already said he wants to wear a white poppy, I wonder how will that be received.

 - I say the man deserves a chance. Surely the 58% of Labour who voted him in can't all be wrong? - I'm an optimist. But I'm an optimist who takes my raincoat - Harold Wilson

 - I can't visualise him as Prime Minister but I couldn't visualise winning the party leadership, the right wing press are really on his case which means they must think there is a chance of him winning the next General Election.

 - O Vic, what % of the vote did you get to put you on all those parish councils?
