If anyone is qualified to cast doubt on the consensus it's right that it be someone untainted by the groupthink mentality which pervades the industry - that is all it is really, an industry. No different to nany other with ambition, greed, lobbying and outright fraud - look at the banking industry!
You have to bear in mind that most of those who write on the subject, be it on blogs or in the mainstream media, are not climate scientists. Every BBC environmental correspondent has no formal qualifications in either climate theory or science (except Susan Watts but She doesn't count). These people are mere hacks promoted in house as is the career pathway which is offered by the BBC.
Read the Guardians or Independents rantings by the likes of Monbiot and his ilk and you will find polemicists whose word is considered Gospel by their followers unquestioningly.
There is no empirical evidence or any other evidence of Man-made climate change, just a series of pronouncements by these people and the deluded others as well as those who profit from the scam which runs into the hundreds of billions.
Give Me one example of Man-made climate change and I'll show you how it is nothing of the sort. It's that easy to do.
By the way, surely if someone works for Exxon and their stance on the issue is compromised can the same be said of someone who works for Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth, WWF, Ecotricity, RSPB, The National Trust and the hundreds of other clubs which have sprung up over the past few years?
