    How does our right Remainer Charlie's view fit in with the Burkean notion of 'trustee representation in Parliament'? As characterised on another thread by Mr Burke's forum advocate, Captain Haddock:

    "our elected representatives are NOT there to 'do our will'. As Burke wrote 'Your representative owes you, not his industry only, but his judgment; and he betrays, instead of serving, you if he sacrifices it to your opinion.'"

    As his electorate's opinion was to leave, it looks like he's betrayed the former by sacrificing his judgment to the latter. Or is he just a loose leaf in a strong wind?
