All Labour councillors and MPs should remember the power of their grassroots membership and that they overwhelmingly back Jeremy Corbyn. How did that 172 MP rebellion pan out for those charlatans?

Yawn, yawn, yawn. Yes, we know all about that Brian and you’re right, more “drivel” indeed.
Just the ramblings from a disgruntled remoaner that his side lost. Would he be as indignant if vote “remain” won the day by the same margin, I doubt it very much.
The fact is that the “VOTING” majority wanted out and that is what we have to live with, like it or not. Surely that’s no different to a political party winning an election and taking control even though the vast majority of our population didn’t vote for them which is often the case.
If at the relevant time certain people couldn’t be arsed to get off their backsides and vote just because they were so bloody dim to determine and find out which way to vote, if at all, then it’s no good crying about it after the event.
The “Remain” side lost in a fair election, end of story!

Not quite end of story John, who would have thought that our betters would be scrambling around handing free money to the EU when we are a nett importer? Many of us who voted to leave have taken to wearing brown trousers due to the fear of what lies ahead. It leaves just a few head bangers in the Tory party that want a "cliff edge exit" mainly because they are already rich and won't be bothered about the country coming to an abrupt halt.
We live in very complicated times with the Labour party not knowing what they do want especially as their voters want different outcomes. Cruella has bluffed her way through so far but knows that a lot more concessions will have to be made in order to keep her in power. Undoubtedly we will leave the EU but any trade deal will be tied in with keeping their laws, continuing with freedom of movement and bending the knee to the European Court of Justice.
Never mind soon be summer.

Couldn’t agree more Howard. “End of story” as far as the referendum result goes, but at the end of the day it would appear that we will have left the EU in all but name only.
Thanks to conservative infighting, a prime minister who doesn’t really believe in what she is doing and opposition sniping (which you would expect of course) we have started “negotiations” in a very weakened position and of which, unsurprisingly, the EU side has taken full advantage of. Just a shame that some of our political elite are doing their level best to ensure that the UK comes off second best when in fact we actually hold several trump cards ( no pun intended! )
I think it may well be Brian that has the last laugh as far as Brexit is concerned!

Could become interesting once Bulgaria take over the rotating Presidency in three days time, they are likely to be more pragmatic about things and don't want to punish the UK.
