I'm just disappointed that regardless of which side of the in / out people were on, the people that are going to suffer if / when this goes wrong is every single one of us. I know they've had so much to unpick to get the UK detached from the EU, but they've had quite a long time to do it.

LONDON (Reuters) - Boris Johnson, the favourite to become British prime minister, said the chances of Britain leaving the European Union without a deal are “a million-to-one” even as he repeated his promise to leave the bloc without a deal by the end of October.
From last year before the election.
Of course. He's been doing a great job.

As far as the best interests of this country are concerned, the answer is against. As far as the odds of leaving are concerned, the answer is pay no heed to a habitual, perhaps even pathological liar.

He's right; we were virtually skeletal in Tower Hamlets until Maastricht saved us from turnip gruel and sawdust loaves.

But wait. Look back to Laughing Boy being interviewed by Nick Ferrari on LBC a year ago. There's a clip of it doing the rounds at the moment on t'internet. He 'absolutely guarantees' that we won't leave without a deal. Now we have the pathetic backtracking of Tory bigwigs, quite happy to perjure themselves, coming on to the news channels to say that the oven ready deal in fact referred to the withdrawal agreement.
These are the same people who tried to convince us that Cummings really did drive to Barnard Castle in order to test his eyesight.
Did anyone listen to Laughing Boy's implied celebration of an Australian style agreement last night? Oh how he emphasised the word 'Australian' as if it were a major triumph of his leadership. He may as well have used the adjective 'Mongolian' or 'Yemeni'. They would mean the same thing - no deal. And how ironic that Malcolm Turnbull should be a guest on last night's QT effectively saying that no deal was the worst solution and that Australia was desperate to conclude a free trade deal with the EU. Why wouldn't they? It is the world's largest and most successful trading block.
So did he secretly want a no deal all along? I think he was put where he is by a party who want Brexit at any cost. Why else would they sacrifice so many good, competent people and be prepared to face the criticisms of politicians like Ken Clarke, John Major and Heseltine? The Tory party is now so far to the right that they will force through their Brexit path at any cost to the country.
We may lament the concreting over of Guston but the damage will go far beyond that. Gullibilty and ideological dogma have got us to where we are. It's always easier to con someone than to convince them that have been conned afterwards.

The UK does not need a deal we can go it on our own the EU need us more then we need them most of the lorrys come over full up and go back with nothing and that is telling us they send more goods over to the UK then we do to over there,so they would lose out by a no deal. LETS go back to doing it all on our own big world out there to buy from so lets build new ships and get buying and selling to the world not just over there, they will buy to from us still.

'The Tory party is now so far to the right' you need to stop reading the Guardian its clouding your vision.
You do understand Ray most on here and all the other social media platforms don't really care that much about Brexit, but enjoy watching remainers vent their spleen to all and sundry

Sorry, you're right, you did. But, aided by WTO tariffs, perhaps we can work on it!

Or TAP20 as we now call it:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-kent-55278947, as distinct from TAP256.
Talking about WTO tariffs, I guess they'll apply to our exports to Turkey.
