Migrant crisis: Thousands stranded in Greece as borders tighten

The pressure on Greece must be intense at the moment. Broke, desperate and overrun with 'migrants' they may be involved in more than they are able to cope with, think of what the outcome could be?
They could be offered 'help' from Russia or even a help ourselves coup from those already there with swift backup from opportunists from across the Med.
Turkey is at loggerheads with Russia and there are, conveniently, unresolved issues between Greece and Turkey in Cyprus which are ripe for exploitation.
Far fetched? Just look how Syria is turning out.
