I'm more of a tea person. I can't stomach coffee before 11am anyway. To be honest I rarely drink it except on occasion when rounding off a long leisurely dinner or when St**bucks have the gingerbread latté at Christmas time - yummy!

i am more of a coffee person but like jeane first thing in the morning has to be tea.
much as i like strong coffee i cannot imagine how people startv the day with an espresso, would leave my nerves frazzled.
the american coffee chains seem to be on an unstoppable roll, whilst in the states a chain started up a few years ago that sold a simple cup of everyday coffee for a dollar.
last i heard they were doing well as many americans did not want a bucket of the stuff.

I have drank tea and prefer it to the 'coffee' in a greasy-spoon-cafe. I did get a little above myself a few years ago and set-up a percolator with a timer switch to fill the house with the smell of coffee first thing, but now confine myself to two cups of two-spoons of the regular instant stuff.
The one time I ventured into a coffee-bazaar I felt the need for a coffee-counsellor, but instead settled for a 'hidden' black coffee which, on inspection, seemed to be a cup of water that had once met a bean in passing.
Coffee for $1?
Is it not more famously coffee for 90c? Hence the expression "Here's you nickel back", which in turn gave rise to the name of a popular beat-combo, Nickelback?

Coffee shops a plenty over here. It seems to be the meeting places before and after work. Coffee houses full at 7.30am crazy then full again all day especially lunch and 5pm.
In my day it was the boozer, Egerton Arms for home cooked lunch and then Waggon and Horses after work to let the Manchester Deansgate traffic ease up. As for having coffeee before work I always in a rush just to make into work on time.
Love the smell of coffee but drink tea...

i was quite surprised to find that the decaffeinated coffee tastes the same as the normal stuff.
won't bother with decaffeinated tea though, i want something to liven me up first thing in the morning.

I do drink a lot of coffee in the office, 3 or 4 cups a day. It is good real coffee though, using a pod machine, not instant muck. Real coffee of course should not be drunk with milk, it has to be cream (or in my case Elmlea, a bit healthier!)

elmlea barry?
i tried it, should have known better when i saw the long best before date.
cream has to be the genuine article whether in coffee or on strawberries.

Its very good actually and a more practical option as well for my office. Much better than milk....

Definitely a real coffee person - double espresso, or a cafetière, or filtered coffee - but absolutely it must be ground coffee, black with a smidge of brown sugar
Tea is ok, but I cannot abide the taste or smell of warm/hot milk so when I drink tea it is either rooibos or green/jasmine tea or one of those that are meant to be drunk without milk (single leaf darjeeling, golden oolong, amber keemun or one of the white or silver tip teas)

Strong black coffee, no sugar, one cup most mornings. Tea I cannot abide, same goes for instant coffee which I only ever drink at my mother's because it's either that or tea! Unless it's beer time of course......
