Peaking Jun/Jul. Inevitable. All we can do is mitigate. In passing try A Journal of the Plague Year 1722 Daniel Defoe. Free downloads. Worth a (re)read. ☹️

Chance of individual passenger having Corovirus half of bugger all AND it's already in UK.
Meanwhile man on Clapham omnibus wants flights stopped?
FFS give me epidemiology.
It's going to be absolute sh!t come Jun/July.

Just been in Morrisons and the soap has almost gone from the shelves. To a certain extent I can understand people buying extra soap but simply can not understand why toilet rolls are in such demand.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

I see it's been declared a Pandemic by WHO (which should of course have been WHOM).
Presumably this means the virus can kill you without regard to biological sex, gender, or gender identity?

Yup, we're only ever 3 days away from anarchy. And going up Priory to get a free Metro to use as loo paper.

The Spectator item,29th February, sums it all up for me and thank you Captain Haddock for posting it.

Surely we are not all imminently facing the ravages of the Black Death or the Great Plague?
As the article says, perhaps there is rather more to this,in more ways than one...

Listened to Trump's 'speech' last night. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.
As with war where nobody actually wins - it's just that the other side were even more incompetent - for the first time I thought that A.N.Other (Dem) is in with a chance.
