    If no one took up the contract, it must have been because they thought the Priory/Maxton route was unviable/unprofitable because not enough people were using it.

    Like you and I have said before Keith, "use it or lose it". I would guess that the income generated from this route over the years has shown little generated, so it depends on how important is the service - to the customer and the business running it.

    If they have to provide a service , then they have to; if they don't have to, then pressure has to be brought to someone, to provide it.
