That is certainly an upbeat message. If only we could have more of the Cafe Culture, but the puddle in the foreground tells the real tale on that one...we dont have the weather.
Okay Ive swallowed the optimism pill today...with the Port sorted out, with Burlington House about to take a powder, with DTIZ up and running, with the new market thriving, with more cruise passengers spending money in the town and lingering amongst the fountains and the flowerbeds...all could be well.

Great plans in line for the Heritage, Howard.
Drainage system will be functional:
puddles shall be avoided as the rainfall runs down the slopes from the Heights and on towards the town. The Roman painted house will will collect the rain flows and become a Roman bath.
Gov's new civil service programme will be diverted to the Heights for big-time employment in mopping up operations of all overgrowth, and while Neil is directing the construction of a new Port in the West, Dave can organise a Mediterranean style plaza with open-air chairs and tables.
Thought the Roman bath part might come in handy there, being the lowest part of the town and a natural collection point for waters.

Nice message, very positive. Rather let down if you are trying to find a public toilet on the seafront though.

The Port and the Heritage may be World-Class but we have a way to go before the Town is World-Class but it's a good aspiration.
If managed properly, Dover can achieve so much.

I agree Brian, but there has to be an acceptance that some people know more than others on certain subjects - we can't all know everying about everything can we ? I certainly don't.

World Class this, World Class that. Can there be no shortage of WCs in the town?
