This is a scary looking boreen. We used to have a coach and horses driven by the headless coachman himself seen on lonely lanes like this back in the emerald isle. Are there any such apparitions in Kent ?? You wont catch me out looking for them. No sirreee !

You know ..they say that if you are caught out in one of them little boreens beyond Shepherdswell as the clock strikes midnight, you can sometimes hear the snorting of the horses and the pounding of their galloping hooves approaching...so there you have it.

2,oxney bottom on the deal road [both directions.] goastly figer likes having a lift in your car for a short distance.
- 20 November 2013 16:20253112Christ Church was our family church we went each Sunday I used to sing there the service for my dad when he died was held there some of my family got married there it was a very cold church because it was so big we used right up till the time it closed my dad was the church warden to,when he was not working at the DEW all his time was in the church.
