Surely he'd have hired some young lads to do that work, and paid them a bountiful tenner an hour, or not?

vic's ears must be burning with all the flak he is taking here.
the self effacing man has been tramping the streets of whitfield, yes even the no-go ones, with two dodgy knees waiting to be operated on.
i think the likes of keith, john, paulw and ray should do the decent thing and help him out with his canvassing and leafletting.

Great to know that Howard.
Whitfield will benefit from Vic's presence.
Flat, easily canvassable, I'm sure his knees will stand up.

Vic seems very quiet these days .I think his forthcoming hospital visit maybe on his mind .Perhaps he has realised that all these Parish Council meetings will be hard work .The problem is you have to be seen to support all their events .I found four quite hard work when i was covering for dear Roger .

Vic, a couple just dropped off a beautiful stapler for you. It is in UKIP colours. Ready for collection any time you are passing.

Wasn't that the one used for securing the information kiosk to the promenade?
