22:3069063socialist thinker and outspoken advocate of the left.
the man who always asks the questions has disappeared off of the face of the planet, or at least jersey.
reward offered if found, not very much though.

06:2669281How long does it take for people/contributors to be missed on here ?
We've had "Where's Keith, Brian, Marek ?", even me a few weeks ago. Whatever has stopped him posting, must have happened two or three weeks ago; hope it's something good like a holiday, or at worst his computer has given up - maybe they don't have internet cafe's in Jersey - we don't have one in Dover anymore do we ?

the library has stacks of computers available for free use.
that is why the internet cafes closed locally.

08:5969295Re the internet cafe. I had to go into the Booking Hall in the Eastern Docks last week to renew my dock pass and noticed a shelf with three internet computers. Charges are £1 for every ten minutes! I used to go up the road to one of the many internet cafes in Valencia every night when running there on the Northern Merchant and would pay that for an hour or two.

11:4769320That's expensive Ed - £6.00 an hour, nearly as expensive as being on a cruise ship.
I think when my computer was down for a while, Howard reminded me that there are free ones in the Discovery Centre; trouble is it doesn't open at 05.30 and even if it did, they wouldn't want me turning up in my 'jamas.

11:5269322Marek could be on an extended holiday, in which case, it might not pay to let the world know you`re not at home. Anybody outside the forum could be looking in.
Tell them that I came, and no one answered.

18:0269352Dear All
I have been rather poorly and only today was relased from hospital after an extended stay.I won't bore you with the details but I have a serious blood disorder that even though uncurable is treatable by weekly blood letting. A bit barbaric but I have been assured that it can work. However they can't start the treatment for at least another 6 weeks. The result has been that it has attacked my organs, immune system and vital necessary chemicals like magnesium and vitamins etc. hence I collapsed and been on drips and under the critical care unit supervision. But we Poles are made of sterner stuff and so stubborn that any alternative other than fighting it with a gsh is not an option. I am 'stable '(probably for the first time in my life..lol) and glad to be at home.
Tomorrow is the Jersey airshow which I intend to attend accompanied by my daughter come what may.I will attempt to post each day and catch up with the DF gossip.Very many thanks for missing me .I am somewhat humbled.
Til next time..... David Milliband for leader and keep the raving left socialist party flag flying.
Love Marek

Marek
I think therefore I am (not a Tory supporter)
