Frank Arthur Tucker used to live in South Down House in the High Street between the ironmongers (Morecrofts) and Leons, a sort of fashion house. Just out of the picture are Denis's the newsagents and Tyler's the greengrocers.
As kids we used to pull his leg as he always carried a briefcase with his initials on it. His wife by the way was about five feet tall and just as wide!
No help in placing the plaque of course, I'll leave that for someone else.
