And living on a diet of bugs and odd-bits of decidedly odd beasts will bring you closer to the reality of life lived by your constituents and others around the country. The Nadine Dorries quest to bring the parliamentary goodwill message to the wider public took a beating last night.
She was the first one to be voted out of this years I'm a Celeb. The polls said it all, she came bottom of the vote and she was ejected. The first one out is always stigmatised as a complete failure..well there we are. She beat oul misery Eric Bristow MBE former darts champion (but now professional miserable git) to the exit door.
But to give her her due she was a game bird. She ate spiders and worse. attempted to sleep with maggots and cockroaches. got sweaty amd mucky doing trials for food and so on.
Here she is in the heat of the jungle action.

She kept spinning to the end.." MP's need to go where the people are.. 16 million are watching, more than voted in the last general election " said she.

- 22 November 2012 14:52202685I doubt if she can come back from this Howard, the latest news is that she is back working as an MP and has set up an office in Australia ! ...so it says on the airwaves this morning. An office in Australia is a fat lot of use to her constituents in mid Bedforshire and will only make them even more miffed. I reckon she half knows she's finished. I never thought she looked comfortable in the House anyway..saw her several times during PMQs and she looked uneasy just speaking and asking a question.email: dover7@msn.com
