In that same post David cried out to receive something by way of Policy. Here it is...
THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF WESTMINSTER:
A PROPOSAL FOR A NEW UK CONSTITUTION.
A 'pdf' document, 42 pages long (the answer to life, the universe and...?). I have read the up to page 17 myself thus far, but I have found it to be well written and I think it a thoroughly useful way for us all to begin thinking of how we could as a Nation (UK) go about realising a 'whole' new approach...
http://www.opendemocracy.net/files/constitutional_commission.pdf
It was published in 2010.
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

Or tom
Week could get out of the EU ,return all powers to parliament
Bring in true proportional representation .So all the voters have a say,
With a non of the above option on the ballet papers
All voters that do not vote pay double income tax
,money for politics from members and donors under £5'000 only
Get rid of the lords;
Replace it with an elected second chamber
Politicians from the first chamber excluded

This is why you support the EU Brian,
You completely don't understand the reality of politics or what happening about you

the euro is almost dead in the water, there has been talk of struggling eurozone countries reverting to their own currency -once the first breaks away the rest will follow.
the european union cannot survive the failure of its currency.

All Weston currencies will probably become default, The over printing of money and mass banking theft will see to this.
After the collapse of finance a new world currency will probably happen
As usual the rich and powerful will be loaded rich, and the poor will fight over the crumbs.

How flattering, a thread from Tom mentioning me.
I believe that an entirely new approach to politics in Dover is required, since the war a succession of blues and reds have overseen the demise of the area. Take this forum, Reg Hansell was leader of DDC, he was an unmitigated disaster, now he has all the answers. Likewise Keith, a councillor at every level for 25 years who bangs out meaningless one liners day after day.
Keep doing the same thing and you're sure to get the same result.

'Weston currencies'..? If the biscuit companies are getting in on the banking act perhaps we will see some novel marketing ideas! Bogof could become a familiar term when you use a cashpoint. If you are overdrawn your statements could read 'not a crumb left in your account.'
Banks could be renamed bakeries which would make cooking the books more acceptable and business lunches could be renamed Rich Tea where the Directors could Hobnob with the other Jammy Dodgers.
Your idea Mr Bibby really takes the biscuit!
p.s. Have just realised where your loyalties lie....Weston biscuits were once a part of BRITISH Bakeries full marks for the ingenious way you managed to get a plug in for your party nibbles!

Do nothing and nothing happens.

You could have added something useful to the debate instead of just being a p***k.
