  Sid, in fact I pointed out that his bet was on the spread betting on the number of seat Labour would lose. His carefully worded statement did not counter that, far from it. I reflected the responsible reports and in fact, I even pointed out that he was not a Labour Party insider, though a Minister. See post 5 - that was where more information about the case came to light.
  
  For you to suggest that this is the equivilent of the slurs concocted by Mcbride beggars all belief and does not do you any good at all. The new low in politics are the machinations, slurs lies and innuendo of McBride and his like working for the Government, along with those who seek to downplay such behaviour.
