"Encouraged hate crime"
I do love hyperbole
Reality is there's not a fag paper between the 2 main parties, both incompetent.

Martin, Peter has asked you to list something positive.
The state of modern politics means as long as you're not quite as useless as the other lot you get in, its awful.

Funny how they didn't list the most expensive law ever passed in the history of the UK, the climate change act.
Too embarrassed by that disaster I suppose.

I'll give a positive - Brown kept us out of the Euro.
I suspect he did it to spite Blair but its a positive nonetheless.

I did see that it was said a little while ago that UKIP have got it into their collective heads that Labour Voters are turning to them in this our hour of need, but in light of the fact that Dover's very own BarryW sees much to admire in UKIP's stance may yet reopen those eyes.
I must say that UKIP members should be careful of what they wish for. The more the media talks-up UKIP the more likely it is that New Labour will become the Party of Protest.

He posted it to have the usual let's bash Labour thread, for someone that has the political aspirations he has surely his mind is firmly made up on Labours time in office? perhaps tomorrow he can start another one on this coalitions time in office? all food and drink to UKIP.

Martin you confirm what I've been saying for ages, neither party has anything positive to say its just yah boo politics.
The coalition is no better than the last lot, I'd guess that's Peter's point

ukip were created by successive red and blue governments. traditional blues see the current and recent leaderships as wishy washy liberals whilst traditional red supporters feel betrayed by the uncontrolled influx of incomers to their communities causing strain on already depleted services and causing wages to drop.
quite incredibly both the the major parties cannot see this and continue to attack ukip whilst doing nothing about their own policies.

David you are certainly not so naive you do not know the purpose of the thread? the sarcasm of the postage stamp remark said it all. He would be better looking to the present and forward rather than looking back to try and impress us with his political acumen. I am much more concerned to be honest who the next global superstar is pitching up at the Lane

When West Ham release players now Howard it is more likely to be to Southend or Canvey Island than the mighty Spurs

I do not think we need to concern your self about what the last Labour Government done or indeed what the last Conservative Government did or did not do. You can note change the past so you learn from the past and move on, look forward and want better in the future. Keep harping back to past Governments does no one any good its making the correct decisions now to give people a better future that counts.
