    Yes Gary as I understand it they are more or less immune from punishment, other than a mild naming and shaming, as the House of Lords was considered to be above the need for any rules and regulations to deal with such lowlife shenanigans. There are a very lose set of rules in place and now Lady Royall is calling for a new set of rules for the modern age. These guys even if guilty can carry on as normal without any loss of position.

    If it becomes a police matter and something majorly illegal was done then that might be a different story, but the latest news suggests the Police are unlikely to get involved having recently had their fingers burned following an excursion into the hallowed ground of The Palace of Westminster.
