The way Labour councillors trembled at the very mention of his name, and his insatiable lust for power.
Anyway, he is far too old to takeover from Gwynn, but if he does, Dover will remain Tory until such times as the local party chose someone they aren't scared of and who is young enough to relate to the youthful voter.

certainly passionate enough in his outspoken views.
