09:4787414Not something we want to do but the policy is no secret...if you dont contribute regularly then Im afraid to say you will be dropped, and you will lose the best free membership in town.
Members dropped today are:
Matt Curtis
Tracey L
Richard Esdale
Jacqui
None have logged in for an age. Jacqui was a very good contributor in the past so a reluctance there.
All we ask in return for all this effort is that the Members play their part.
If you want to just be a reader then dont join..just read.
We are going through the list and there are other possibilities for exclusion shortly.

Each persons "forum stirrer" is someone elses "sound and solid poster"
Each persons "regular poster" is someone elses "pointless poster for the sake of it"
Leave it to the management to remove posters based on the criteria they have stated
"Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you'll die today." - James Dean
"Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength,
While loving someone deeply gives you courage" - Laozi

11:0987444Yes I'll second that Ross.
I'm sure any of the above can rejoin the forum if they want to. There may have been circumstances to prevent them from posting.

11:4787454I'll third it.
I thought Jacqui posted over the Christmas period having a side swipe at Vic or am I getting her mixed up with someone else.

13:1487480Plenty of snow about the last few weeks, though not much Frost with his unique sense humour. Also, has Alexander been abducted by aliens? And what about Anne Edwards, has she finally found her man?

13:1787481And when you do contribute regularly no one takes any notice, Or the local papers use anything you say on the forum with out asking first. and i will be taking this further.

i did wonder about alex, last time he posted was christmas eve.
my theory is that he was taken by santa claus back to his grotto in lapland whereupon alex is now giving lectures to the inuit people upon the subject of the perils of joining the single currency.
either that or he has broken his computer.

13:4687500No, abducted by aliens Howard. Of course, he`ll come on here and deny it all. That`ll teach him for doubting the possibility of their existance.

13:4987501I suspect Alex is up in the wilds of Scotland worn out from playing the bagpipes and too full of haggis and whiskey to post on here.

14:3487517Would a better question not be, which is better occasional responsive and/or pertinent postings or continual "look at me I'm still here" postings?
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.

14:4887522A balance has to be struck between the profound and the regular. If everyone only posted once in the blue moon when they had something monumental to say then we simply wouldnt be here.
However we are not quite desperate enough yet for posts like Phil's there.
