    As far as I am aware Brian, there is no new outsourcing scheduled for the port operations; I've not seen or heard of any, in any of the presentations I've attended.

    As has been discussed on here previously, outsourcing is a normal activity for many businesses.

    Guarantees are being written into this Brian, guarantees for the workforce, job security, working practices and pensions too.

    Being able to keep the lorries from choking up Aycliffe, Snargate and Townwall Streets must be good - mustn't it ?
