The trouble is though Bern, that although Sheila has given her "reason" for not voting for Lord Boyce, it is her view and opinion and she is allowed that.
The fact that we (or at least the vast majority who have posted on it) think otherwise, is neither here nor there really.
We can't remove people because they have a different view to us (although there must be many cases when we'd really want to), but hope that they would at least see the bigger picture and the consequence of their actions.
It is also a vote against Dover and they don't/can't see that.
"What have the Romans ever done for us" seems to be their chant.
Maybe if they had thought what will this honour bring to Dover as well, they surely would have all voted for him ? Or maybe not.
