  I think we are forgetting that (even!) Elvis had his dark side, abused drugs, screwed around - as many in that business do. Us poor mortals don't quite grasp how shallow and fickle the entertainment industry is - I saw a bit of it when I was young and pretty and it wasn't nice. People and pleasures are easily bought and covered up - and that doesn't mean that in Jacksons case that happened, just that the general public can be horribly naive about these things!! His situation was probably horribly complex and a web of abuses and mutual dependencies. But he has died, he was just a singer, and sad as it is, there are lots of other sad things happening, some of them on our doorsteps, so perhaps we should re-focus and move on. I mean it kindly.
