Thats OK Mrs Higgins, I try not to make my posts boring but I can see now that some are, but there are times when it is nice to get away from political posts even if they are local ones, and this is one of them times,it did not work so that is about all I can say about it. Thank you.

Politics and Bar Snacks...
The jar---UK as a whole.
The Lid---opportunity in an unseen hand.
Egg---is us, cooked and skinned.
Pickle---the situation we are all in.
Spices---the reward of immigration.
Canned Worms...on the market soon.

Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

And the Scotch Bonnet chillies in the jar- all dark and wrinkled- who or what do they represent? (that's the secret weapon by the way).

Reminds me of a bar I was in up the Columbia River, at Kalama in Washington State, loading grain. There was a bottle filled with some horrible looking things behind the bar. Transpired they were turkeys gizzards.
One of my companions tried one but I was not tempted!

Today coming home from work I popped into Morrisons and got a 4 pint container of bio milk, a can of evaporated Carnation milk and a string of four ciders. Then I had a mug of coffee.
Now I'm going to retrieve a can that I put in the freezer.

Never tried it together. The one is for my coffee, the other goes well with pickled eggs, I think.
