- 14 February 2014 19:35260989Oh Barrie, Christmas in UK is different to Germany... Christmas is about Family and not presents... They do get one each not tons each....
When I see Families stuck up their xmas presents in piles it makes me sad because this is not christmas for me :(
But Each to their own. I am happy the way we celebrate our x mas and Barrie you would love it too as it is heartwarming

It is such a shame that this country has turned all our festivals into money making projects.

And when I got run over coming home from work one night they were the very first to vist me ,and each day they would come and see me.If me a Lesley had the funds we would be out there still now. Germany and Spain, Lesley off to Germany in the next few weeks on
a River C/ship on the Rine,I have to stay here girls only.

As much as I like all the bankholidays and festivities... I do not like the commercial side of it... But thats the Price you pay these days ....

I think I got on well with them because unlike the other English lads working out there I did not drink.and was out running,and going down to the police gym having a workout with their local boxers.
