  In 1979 she had 43.9%
  In 1983 it was 42.4%
  In 1987 it was 42.2%
  
  Even John Major managed 41.9%
  
  Blair managed 43.2% in his 1997 landslide
  That dropped to 40.7% in 2001, then to 35.4% in 2005 - yet still managed 65 seat overall majority.... such is the current imbalance.
